How To Make Money Online. The Real Truth.

How Would I Start To Build My Own Web Site?

The first thing you would need is a web site builder. There are several that I can recommend and they are both free and wysiwyg no knowledge of html code needed. One of these are my free web site builder and the other is called kompozer. The first one has a set of video tutorials that you can download with it and the second you can search through google and find tutorials on it.

Either one of these two programs will do just fine because they create the html coding for you while you create the page. Creating a page for a web site is not much different than working with a word document and adding pictures. There will be some differences and a learning curve but it’s not that bad. That’s all I knew when I first started out, was how to create pages and I found the transformation not overly difficult. Then again you always have the option of outsourcing, paying someone to do it for you. If you decide to go that route be sure to do some real research on the reputation of the company or person that you hire to do this. Even if you would decide to hire someone else to do the web site for you, you should still spend the time to learn.

One of the big problems you may run across is graphics, especially the header. You can find header packages all over by using the search engines and they are pretty cheap. You will just need to find one that matches your theme. I have a very outdated version of photoshop and over sixteen years of experience using it. So I like to create my own even though I’m not a designer.

Most people are scared to death when they make their first attempt at creating a web site and there will be frustrations. But once you start getting a few things going in your favor, you will start understanding it more and how it works and want to do more. Once you construct three or four web sites using just the html that the builder creates then you will be ready to start learning css. This makes your coding much more cleaner and allows you to be a little more creative. But for now just try and learn to put your web sites together with the what you see is what you get method.
