Add Bonuses To Your Affiliate Offers.
If you would happen to sell affiliate products by constructing your own squeeze page or website, there are several things to keep in mind.
- You will need an auto responder such as get response or aweber. This is needed to build your own list. Offer a couple nice bonuses for signing up, everybody that goes through your page won’t sign up. Just remember that each one that does is one more than you had.
- You will also need a hosting company. I am only using two at the present. I believe the one you are on right now Just Host offers the most for the least amount of money.
- You should be well informed about the product you’re promoting. It is best to purchase it yourself and learn it. If the seller has a good affiliate program, good content put together for their affiliates and a good sales page usually good content can come from reading that. Put as much relevant content as you possibly can on your squeeze page or website. Do this in your own words.
- If you build a website, that will allow room for even more relevant content for the product you are promoting. More content allows you to slip in more text affiliate links.
- No matter which one you use a squeeze page or website, this is very important. You really want to add on the bonuses if they purchase from your link. These bonuses must be relevant to the product you are promoting.
Make sure you let the potential buyer know that they will have to send you a copy of their receipt so you can be sure the purchase was made through your affiliate link. A Clickbank receipt should have the affiliate id in the lower left hand corner. You may also want to mention a slight waiting period before you send out your bonuses due to charge backs. That is totally up to you.
Don’t Forget About The FTC Law When Selling Affiliate Products.
This law requires you to place a disclosure on your squeeze page or website. This disclosure must inform the potential customer that if they purchase the affiliate product or products you are promoting that you will make money. Don’t get caught without having this on any of your affiliate sites. Many affiliates add this to their emails when selling affiliate products also. I guess it’s better safe than sorry.
