How To Make Money Online. The Real Truth.

This week I let the opportunity seeker in come out again. Every time this happens things turn out not as expected. I had got in the habit of clicking on a link and if it took me to a page with just a sales video, get off quick. I hate 2 minute commercials on TV but I really hate 20 to thirty minute commercials that are all hype and bs.

However, this product was something that could be very useful, so I watched the video. Never pay for an ad again, you can have as many free ads as you want up and running 5 minutes after you watch this video. It just takes three simple steps and your set. So I made the purchase and was obviously then taken to an up sell. The second video was to me one of those big mistakes that online marketers make.

I had just went through a twenty minute video telling me how great the product was that I had just purchased and could have free ads running in five minutes. Now I am into the second video (the up sell)that is basically telling me that what I had purchased would take to much time and research to get it running properly and I needed to purchase the up sell to make everything work properly.

Now in my opinion this is just plain bad selling tactics and the topper was a monthly fee for this product. Needless to say, I didn’t even register my membership and asked for a refund.

This could very possibly do everything it’s said to do, however if it takes two pieces sell them together as one package. There isn’t any rule that states you need an up sell. Just charge more for the complete package as one.
